Ambulance Support ProgramDescriptionThe Ambulance Support program, managed by supportLink IT, provides social support to all employees of the ACT Ambulance Service (ACTAS) and their families on personal, work related or family issues. BackgroundThe Ambulance Support Program was launched on the 12th of August, 2009, after staff surveys conducted by the ACT Department of Justice and Community Safety and the Transport Workers Union identified a desire from ACTAS staff to significantly enhance welfare support arrangements which recognise the unique services provided on a 24/7 basis.
